Furloughed Pilots Support Program
Whether you're facing a furlough, downgrade, or career uncertainty, you're not alone. The Furloughed Pilots Support Program connects you with tools, guidance, and support you need to navigate what comes next.
Your Union Has Your Back
ALPA’s Furloughed Pilots Support Program (FPSP) is here to help you manage whatever challenge you're facing—whether it’s a displacement, furlough, or shutdown. From financial guidance to career support, we offer clear next steps and real-world resources to help you stay grounded and move forward.
The program was originally launched in 2008 to support pilots on furlough, then reactivated during the COVID-19 pandemic. Its resources remain available and are continually updated by ALPA’s Membership Committee to reflect the evolving needs of our pilot community.
Pilot Peer Support
24/7 access to a network of pilot volunteers who help fellow ALPA members deal with stress from any source—financial problems, family or relationship problems, or any other work or personal issues.
