MONTREAL—Yesterday, the Air Transat Master Executive Council (MEC), represented by the Air Line Pilots Association, Int'l (ALPA), elected its officers for a two-year term beginning August 11, 2026. Capt. Bibianne Lavallée will serve as MEC chair, Capt. Federico Lleras as MEC vice chair, and F/O Christopher Pye as MEC secretary-treasurer.
Capt. Lavallée and Capt. Lleras both fly the Airbus A321, while First Officer Pye flies the Airbus A330.
"It is an honour to serve as chair of the Air Transat MEC and represent the pilots of Air Transat," said Capt. Lavallée. "I look forward to working alongside my fellow MEC officers and committee chairs as we advocate for our members, build on the progress we've made, and continue strengthening our pilot group throughout the coming term."
The MEC extends its sincere appreciation to Capt. Bradley Small for his four years of leadership as MEC chair, and to Capt. Antoine Brébant for his service as MEC secretary-treasurer.
