Kelowna Flightcraft Pilots Ratify New Agreement, Delivering Major Gains

May 27, 2026

KELOWNA, B.C.—Today, Kelowna Flightcraft pilots, represented by the Air Line Pilots Association, Int’l (ALPA), voted overwhelmingly to ratify their tentative agreement reached with KF Aerospace management. The new agreement was ratified unanimously by 100 percent of eligible pilots who voted. The four-year agreement offers meaningful improvements to compensation, quality of life, scheduling protections, and greater opportunities for career progression.

“This agreement represents the determination, professionalism, and solidarity that our pilots demonstrated throughout this process,” said Capt. Andreas Geng, chair of the Kelowna Flightcraft Master Executive Council. “Our pilots remained focused and engaged throughout negotiations, and today’s result shows what can be achieved when pilots stand together with a common purpose.”

The new agreement, which takes effect immediately, brings wages in line with pilots flying similar aircraft across the industry in Canada and provides enhanced scheduling benefits for pilots.

“These improvements recognize the value and contributions Kelowna Flightcraft pilots bring to the airline and help strengthen our pilot group's future by recognizing the important work we do every day,” added Capt. Andreas Geng. “I want to thank our Negotiating Committee, Master Executive Council, and members for all their hard work and unity throughout this process.”

Founded in 1931, ALPA is the largest airline pilot union in the world and represents more than 80,000 pilots at 42 U.S. and Canadian airlines. Visit ALPA.org or follow us on X @ALPAPilots.
