Delta Pilots Help Passengers Navigate Busy Summer Flying Season

July 2, 2026

ATLANTA, GA – The Delta Master Executive Council (MEC), a unit of the Air Line Pilots Association, Intl. that represents Delta’s 17,700 pilots, has launched a website, DeltaPilotsCare.com, to help Delta customers navigate the busy summer flying season. The website provides useful information for passengers who are affected by delays and cancelations. Additionally, the site also provides tips on how customers can make the most of their travel experience.

“As frontline leaders, our pilots see the operation from a unique, up-close perspective”, said Capt. Eric Criswell, Chairman of the Delta MEC. “We want to share this knowledge and experience with our passengers, which can be especially useful during busy travel periods. Further, when a thunderstorm hits a major hub, it can cause a ripple effect of delays and cancellations. We know families look forward to their summer travel, and these disruptions are unfortunate and frustrating for both our passengers and our pilots alike. Delta pilots continue to step up—working on days off and flying extra flights to get our customers to their destinations safely, which is always our top priority.”

DeltaPilotsCare.com will be updated throughout the summer with additional tips and guidance. “Delta has built a reputation on being a premium brand. The Delta pilots want to do our part to ensure our passengers continue to receive the service they’ve come to expect when flying on Delta. Our customers deserve a reliable airline, and pilots do, too,” said Capt. Criswell.
