FedEx Pilots’ Union Advances Tentative Contract Agreement for Membership Ratification Vote
Memphis, Tenn.—The FedEx Master Executive Council (MEC), the governing body of the FedEx unit of the Air Line Pilots Association, International (ALPA), voted today to advance a tentative contract agreement with FedEx management, reached through negotiations under the supervision of the National Mediation Board, to the pilot membership for ratification.
FedEx pilots will now begin the membership review process for the tentative agreement. Pilots will receive the complete tentative agreement language, along with supporting materials and information regarding the ratification vote timeline.
“Our focus now shifts to providing pilots the information and time needed to carefully review the agreement before participating in the ratification vote,” said Capt. Jose Nieves, chair of the FedEx ALPA Master Executive Council.
The membership ratification ballot will open on May 12 and close on June 9. If ratified, the tentative agreement will become the new collective bargaining agreement between FedEx and its pilots, effective June 29, 2026.
Founded in 1931, ALPA is the largest airline pilot union in the world and represents more than 80,000 pilots at 42 U.S. and Canadian airlines. Visit ALPA.org or follow us on X @ALPAPilots.
