Applications for ALPA internships must include an essay addressing questions that demonstrate your belief in our mission and your passion for a career in aviation.
Please complete and submit/upload essays with your application. You must provide a response to the question in Part 1 and respond to two options in Part 2.

Since 1931, ALPA has served professional pilots in North America through all aspects of their careers. Why do you feel an internship at ALPA would be the best match for your qualifications and experiences, and why do you want to pursue an internship opportunity in the aviation industry?

Option 1
Describe an example of your leadership experience in which you have positively influenced others, helped resolve disputes, or contributed to group efforts over time.
Option 2
Trust is something that is earned, not given. Who is the person you trust most and what have they done to earn your trust?
Option 3
Describe the most significant challenge you have faced and the steps you have taken to overcome this challenge. How has this challenge affected you?
Option 4
What would you say is your greatest talent or skill? How have you developed and demonstrated that talent over time?
