Pascan Pilots Secure First ALPA Contract

Since joining ALPA in August 2023, Pascan Aviation pilots have steadfastly worked toward a fair contract, determined to improve conditions for all. A significant milestone was achieved in 2025 with the signing of the pilot group’s first contract under ALPA representation—a year that also saw the election of the first Master Executive Council (MEC), led by then chair Capt. Eric Duquette, and a strike by the airline’s flight attendants.

The new four-year collective agreement, ratified on February 19, 2025, includes significant improvements, including pay increases of more than 16 percent, better scheduling, enhanced quality-of-life provisions, and improved benefits.

This contrasts sharply with the airline’s 21 flight attendants (CUPE Local 5490), whose agreement expired in July 2025 and who are currently on an indefinite strike over wages, working conditions, and training.
