Envoy Pilots Build Unity and Shape Their Future
Envoy Air pilots continue to unify and empower their pilot group through initiatives that educate, engage, and advocate for the profession.
In 2025, the Master Executive Council (MEC) introduced programs to support pilots at every stage: the Membership Committee launched a new-hire mentor program using Qooper; the Contract Compliance Committee rolled out a “Know Your Contract” social media campaign to boost collective bargaining agreement awareness; and the Legislative Affairs Committee participated in ALPA’s Legislative Summit, meeting with lawmakers to advance pilot-partisan priorities such as opposing reduced-crew operations, improving mental-health resources, and modernizing air traffic control. A strong turnout at September’s pilot unity-building event in Wrigleyville in Chicago, Ill., underscored the pilot group’s commitment to unity and engagement.
The pilots also contributed to industry dialogue at ALPA’s 69th Air Safety Forum during the panel “Balancing Innovation and Traditional Training: Training the Current and Next Generation of Airline Pilots,” showcasing how virtual reality is enhancing pilot training at Envoy Air—not by replacing traditional methods but by improving accessibility, engagement, and safety.
The pilot group is entering a pivotal transition as current MEC leaders prepare to flow to American Airlines in 2026. The MEC is rallying committee members and line pilots to step forward now and help shape the next chapter of the pilot group’s success.
