ALPA Scheduling Workshop: Preferential Bidding Systems
ALPA’s Economic & Financial Analysis Department is pleased to announce our next Scheduling Workshop: Preferential Bidding Systems (PBS). The two-day event will provide a unique collaborative opportunity for Scheduling Committee members, including their active monthly scheduling experts.
Discussions will include:
PBS parameters
Contractual provisions surrounding PBS
Implementation and best practices
Specific PBS vendors breakouts, particularly, NavBlue, AdOpt, and any others per requests

This is a union-only function for PBS experts and Scheduling Committee members with no company or vendor participation.
The workshop will begin at 9:00 a.m. ET on Tuesday, May 12, and is scheduled to conclude at 2:00 p.m. ET on Wednesday, May 13. Full daily schedule TBD.

Your pilot group’s Master Executive Council or union budget is responsible for all other expenses (travel, lodging, meals, and flight pay loss); please confirm your plan to attend with your appropriate officer(s).
A block of rooms is available for attendees at the Marriott Tysons Corner. ALPA event planning will direct bill your MEC unless you inform us that you would like to expense it. Non-ALPA unions are responsible for self-pay. Hotel booking is available through the event registration page.
